Luciant Privacy Policy

Overview

Luciant is an AI-powered browser extension that provides form auto-filling, social media content generation, prediction market and sports betting analysis, email drafting, and shopping assistance. This policy describes what data Luciant collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Features covered by this policy

• Form auto-filling -- AI-matched field detection for job applications, government forms, signups, and more.
• Social media content generation -- TikTok hashtags, Instagram captions, LinkedIn posts, Twitter/X threads, YouTube SEO, and Reddit replies.
• Prediction market analysis -- Kalshi, Polymarket, and PredictIt market sentiment, risk breakdown, and odds comparison.
• Sports betting analysis -- BIFF engine analysis on DraftKings, FanDuel, Bet365, BetMGM, and other sportsbooks.
• Email drafting -- context-aware drafting, replies, and tone adjustment for Gmail and Outlook.
• Shopping assistance -- Amazon review summaries, product comparisons, and deal checks.

What data is collected

• User profile: Name, email, address, phone, and any custom fields you create. Stored entirely in your browser's local storage using the Chrome Storage API.
• Field labels: When you activate Luciant on a page, the extension reads field labels, placeholder text, and field types. Field values you have entered are never collected.
• Page context snippets: Short excerpts of visible page content (up to 1,500 characters) are read to determine the page type and provide AI context.
• Fill statistics: Aggregate counts of forms filled, fields filled, and streak data. Stored locally on your device.

What is NOT collected

• Passwords or authentication credentials
• Social Security numbers, government IDs, or tax identifiers
• Credit card numbers, bank account details, or financial account information
• Contents of your encrypted vault
• Browsing history or activity on pages where you do not invoke Luciant

What is sent to servers

When you activate Luciant on a page, the extension sends the following to the Luciant backend (luciant-backend.luciant-labs.workers.dev) over HTTPS:

• Field labels and your profile data, so the AI can match fields to the correct profile values.
• Page content snippets for smart actions (social content generation, betting analysis, email drafting, shopping assistance).

The backend forwards these requests to the Anthropic Claude API for processing. Neither Luciant nor Anthropic retains request data after the response is returned.

Audit logging

Each time you use a Luciant action, the following is logged for security and abuse prevention:

• Your customer ID (derived from your Stripe subscription)
• The action type (e.g., "match", "fill", "assist")
• The number of fields involved
• The hostname of the page (e.g., "linkedin.com")
• Your IP address
• Timestamp

Audit logs are retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted.

How data is stored

• Your profile data is stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local.
• Profile data is encrypted at rest by Chrome's built-in storage encryption.
• Server-side audit logs and session tokens are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, encrypted in transit and at rest.

Billing

Luciant offers a free 7-day trial. Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Luciant does not store your payment card details; all payment processing is handled by Stripe. Available plans:

• Free Trial: 7 days of full access, no credit card required.
• Pro: $6.99/month (or $59.99/year) for individuals.
• Power: $19.99/month for teams and power users.

Permissions explained

• storage -- to save your profile and fill statistics locally.
• activeTab -- to detect form fields and page context on the current page when you activate the extension.
• scripting -- to inject the content script that reads fields, fills forms, and provides smart actions.

Tracking and analytics

Luciant does not include any tracking pixels, third-party analytics scripts, or telemetry SDKs.

Data retention

• Local profile data: Retained until you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data.
• Audit logs: Retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted.
• Session tokens: Expire and are purged regularly.

GDPR and CCPA rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To request data deletion or export, email privacy@luciant-labs.com. We will respond within 30 days.
